An original linocut, carved on lino and handprinted with oil-based ink on premium printmaking paper Zerkall. 
This is my take on Pierrot, aka Sad Clown - a stock character from Commedia Dell’Arte, an early form of professional theatre popular in Europe in 16th-18th centuries. This particular version of Pierrot has a bit of Art Deco feel to it, I think. 

Paper size appr. 25x29 cm. 
Shipped flat in a protective envelope carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue  to ensure safe delivery.
