An original multiple-block linocut, carved on 4 blocks of linoleum, individually inked with highly-pigmented oil-based ink in 17 colours and handprinted on premium heavyweight paper (100% cotton rag Somerset paper).
 
Inspired by my local area of Holyrood in the South of Edinburgh which looks particularly majestic in autumn. We love going for walks around and up Arthur's Seat - the main peak of the group of hills in Holyrood Park and an ancient extinct volcano (my beautiful city has everything - even a volcano!)
 
A small limited edition.  Paper size 57x23 cm, image size 38,5x10.5 cm. Hand-finished edges so can be framed without a mount, with exposed edges.
Numbered and signed in pencil.
Because the image is inked and printed by hand, there may be slight variations in tone and colour. Sold unframed. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
