An original linocut "Hellebores at Abden House"- designed, carved on 4 blocks of linoleum, individually inked with highly-pigmented oil-based ink and handprinted on premium heavyweight paper (100% cotton rag Somerset paper, manufactured in the UK).
Featuring hellebores in the lovely gardens outside the Abden House in Southside Edinburgh, a home to the Confucius Institute. I walk through these gardens almost daily and really enjoy seeing how they change through the seasons.
A limited edition of 100. Paper size 36x28,5cm, image size 27.5 x20cm. Hand-finished edges so can be framed without a mount, with exposed edges. Numbered and signed in pencil.Because the image is inked and printed by hand, there may be slight variations in tone and colour. Sold unframed.
