Designed (as all of my linocuts) by myself, carved on linoleum and handprinted with highly-pigmented oil-based ink on a Japanese cream paper Kitakata.
 
 
This design was inspired by my love of "Arts and Crafts" and "Art Nouveau" movements in general,  and my admiration for the work of Russian illustrator Ivan Bilibin (1876 - 1942), in particular. Bilibin used illustrative borders throughout most of his book illustrations and I tried to design my own border for this linocut.
