An original linocut, designed, carved on linoleum, individually inked with highly-pigmented ink in teal colour and handprinted on premium heavyweight paper (100% cotton rag Somerset paper, manufactured in the UK).
 
"The Scarlet Flower" is a story written in the 19th century by a Russian writer Sergei Aksakov - it's an adaptation of a traditional fairytale "The Beauty and The Beast". 

Paper  size appr 25x19cm, image size 17x11cm. Paper has handfinished torn edges so can be displayed without a mount.
 
Will be shipped flat, carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue and packaged in a protective envelop to ensure safe delivery.
