An original linocut, designed, carved on linoleum, individually inked with highly-pegmened ink in earthy dark green and handprinted on premium heavyweight paper (100% cotton rag Somerset paper, manufactured in the UK). An illustration of a fairy tale story by Hans Christian Andersen, published in 1835 (a first in the series of illustrations of his books, which I was very fond of as a child)

Signed in pencil. 
Will be shipped flat, carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue and cellophane and packaged in a protective envelop to ensure safe delivery.
